FSC Group Scheme

The Process Group operates the FSC Chain of Custody group scheme for the Paper, Publishing and Print sectors.

Membership of our FSC group scheme entitles you to make claims and use the FSC label on printed products for your customers.

Membership of The Process Group's FSC Chain of Custody scheme is open to customers from the paper, print and publishing industries. The scope of the Group Scheme covers FSC Pure, FSC Mixed and FSC Recycled certified products. To become a Group Member, The Process Group will organise an assessment of your organisation against the requirements of the FSC Chain of Custody standard, and depending on the results, will then confirm membership of the Group Scheme. Criteria for membership of the Group Scheme are as follows:

  1. 15 or fewer employees (headcount, including temporary or seasonal staff. The group scheme reduces the cost for smaller businesses and makes assessment for FSC Chain of Custody affordable, whilst enabling individual group scheme members to use FSC trademarks, Labels and logos on and off product. The Process Group also offers a monthly payment scheme to allow its customers to budget accurately for the costs of group membership. The Process Group holds a Group Chain of Custody certificate issued by the FSC accredited certification body, Control Union Certifications. Fees for membership of the group scheme are fixed by The Process Group, and are available on request
  2. Where customers fall outside the Group Scheme criteria above, then The Process Group can prepare companies for compliance with the standard, both for single site or multi-site organisations, and can arrange for assessment via the FSC accredited certification body, Control Union Certifications
  3. For all customers, The Process Group can arrange training in the Chain of Custody Standard to allow them to achieve effective and rapid implementation
